Based in Middlesbrough, working across the whole of the UK with a dominance within the North East of England, Farrell Fabrications provides a comprehensive range of expert maintenance, repairs and installations services for all kinds of industrial and commercial roller shutter doors and gates, to businesses across the North East and the UK.
A bit of history
Established in 1971 by Mr Thomas Farrell and was predominantly a steel fabrication and glazing repair company. The business was handed down to the son Mr Mike Farrell.
As the business grew they diversified into the roller shutter door industry and began to manufacture for trade suppliers and also complete their own installation and repairs. (dropping the glazing side)
As the company began to continue to grow they decided to convert to a limited company in 1996.
The current managing director Geoff Bell has been with the company over 30 years and started off as fabricator in the workshop, With Mike Farrell seeking further investment he sold a 50% stake in the business to Mr James Teesdale, With the view to really push the business forward Geoff progressed from Fabricator to into management.
Both Mike Farrell & James Teesdale decided to retire and Geoff moved in to buy the shares along with another college Gary Bolton in 2003 the business progressed gaining many contracts
In 2017 Geoff Bell and Tony Smith bought the 50% shares from Gary Bolton the business has continued to grow
In 2022 Jonathan Tarling bought 50% shares from Tony Smith & Geoff Bell and the company opened its second office in London
